This year, BESIX stood out with four nominated projects, two of which were recognised as category winners. ViA15 GelreGroen (NL) won Best Transport Project; and Khalifa University Student Accommodation PPP Project (UAE) won Best Social Infrastructure Project.
In addition, R4WO (BE) and the Khalifa City School Project (UAE) were shortlisted, underscoring the breadth and consistency of BESIX’s PPP track record across geographies and sectors.
These awards highlight BESIX’s ability to act decisively across the full PPP lifecycle. Depending on project needs, besides being an SPV partner, the Group is also involved as EPC contractor and/or as Operations & Maintenance partner.
This integrated approach allows BESIX to align design, financing, delivery and long‑term performance from the outset, while building strong and lasting partnerships with public authorities.
“For more than 20 years, BESIX has played a consistent role in public‑private partnerships across Belgium, the Netherlands and the Middle East. We are involved where we can add real value, as an investor through the SPV, as a delivery partner through EPC, and over the long term through operations and maintenance. This continuity, across projects and markets, is what allows us to be recognised as a trustworthy party by public and private partners, and to deliver PPPs that perform over time. These two Partnership Awards are a well-deserved recognition for the exceptional work that our people deliver year after year.” – Tom Neyrinck, General Manager BESIX Invest.
Backed by decades of experience and once again recognised at the Partnership Awards, BESIX remains a preferred partner for public authorities looking for reliability, clarity and durable outcomes.
