EcoVadis Rating: BESIX SA/NV is awarded a gold medal

Last September, BESIX participated in the EcoVadis assessment which analyses environmental, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement performance of businesses around the world. Following this assessment, EcoVadis awarded BESIX SA/NV the gold medal with a score of 67/100, mainly for demonstrating an advanced management system on environmental and labour & human rights issues.

EcoVadis in the construction industry

EcoVadis experts evaluated the answers BESIX provided to their questionnaire, and audited all supporting documents produced to ascertain our answers. Based on their sustainability matrix, EcoVadis mapped BESIX’s performance on a scorecard, comparing BESIX’s results to other companies rated by EcoVadis in the construction industry.

Overall score: BESIX SA/NV in the top 8%
Environment: BESIX SA/NV in the top 4%
Labour & Human Rights: BESIX SA/NV in the top 17%
Sustainable Procurement: BESIX SA/NV in the top 21%

It is worth noting that BESIX is among the 5% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis that obtained these scores!
