BESIX Environment is a Design & Build and EPC contractor active in Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Its expertise covers biochemical processes, electromechanical works and hydraulics, supporting clients from early business development through to operation and maintenance.

Key projects in Belgium include Hyoffwind, the country’s first large scale green hydrogen production facility in Zeebrugge, and the De Gavers water production centre with BESIX Unitec in Harelbeke. The company also supported EPC works for Aquafin’s sludge mono-treatment plant in Ghent (Belgium) and initiated pre-operational activities for its future Operation & Maintenance scope with partner Indaver. Together with BESIX, Socogetra and LuxTP, BESIX Environment is modernising and expanding several wastewater treatment stations across the Benelux.
