In the city of Doha, Qatar has offered itself an exhibition centre of the future, with world-class architecture. A building destined to become a top regional and international exhibition centre.

Futuristic look

Positioned at the foot of a futurist-looking tower, the Doha Exhibition Centre offers 100,000 square metres of exhibition and congress space, plus parking facilities. Six Construct, in partnership with Midmac, was responsible for the structural work, electromechanical equipment and plumbing.

500m long

BESIX and Midmac built the 4-level concrete structure (including ground floor) and the floor slab of impressive proportions - more than half a kilometre long and nearly 200 m wide. The two partners went on to finish the Center's superstructure and landscape the site, and remain responsible for maintenance.
