The renovation and redevelopment of the former main post office in Rotterdam were entrusted to ‘The POST Bouw’ joint venture, an association between BESIX Nederland and Rizzani de Eccher.
Located in a particularly lively area of the city, the JV project consists of the construction of a 155-metre-high residential tower that rises from the historic building, one of the few that survived the Second World War, to be renovated.
The beautiful monument in the heart of Rotterdam will blossom again with a 5-star Kimpton-brand hotel, catering establishments, and 305 apartments. POST Rotterdam will provide a striking example of the mix between modern architecture and the rehabilitation of historical buildings.
