The master building consists of two ten‑storey towers connected by a four‑storey central volume, complemented by four underground levels dedicated to parking and logistics. Fully tailored to police operations, it includes interview rooms, sports areas, detention zones and high‑performance safety systems. Its glass façade maximises natural daylight and offers wide city views, creating a comfortable and adaptable work environment for the entire police force.
Strategically located on the former postal sorting centre site of Antwerp, the project ensures excellent accessibility to the city. AG Vespa entrusted the PPP to the Post X LPA consortium in 2017, with BESIX as the exclusive EPC contractor responsible for design, construction, financing and maintenance. BESIX delivered the full DBFM scope, culminating in the availability certificate in March 2023 and initiating a 25 year maintenance period.
